Job Summary
At Homes By Design, we specialise in redefining residential & commercial spaces into elegant, functional, and luxurious environments through bespoke interior design, fit-outs, home décor & styling, custom-built furniture, and high-end landscaping and pool solutions.
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Architect to join our growing Luxury Interior Design & Fit-Out Division. You will take full ownership of architectural responsibilities across a variety of residential and select commercial projects, working in close coordination with our design and build teams to ensure that every element aligns with our premium standards of craftsmanship, design precision, and timely delivery.
This is a key role requiring collaboration with 3D designers, engineers, and the project management team. You will also ensure all documentation and designs are fully compliant with Dubai’s government and private authority regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the architectural design process across all projects, from concept development to construction documentation.
- Translate design briefs and client vision into architectural solutions that combine aesthetic appeal, functionality, and buildability.
- Collaborate with the interior design, fit-out, furniture, and landscaping teams to deliver integrated design solutions.
- Create and review detailed architectural drawings, layouts, and specifications using AutoCAD and other industry-standard software.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant Dubai municipality and authority regulations, codes, and permits throughout the design lifecycle.
- Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and subcontractors to ensure seamless site execution aligned with approved designs.
- Support the design team in producing 3D visualizations and presentation materials for client reviews and approvals.
- Conduct site visits as needed to assess implementation, provide solutions, and align execution with the design intent.
Skills & Competencies
- AutoCAD Mastery: Advanced skills in 2D and 3D drafting, rendering, and documentation.
- Design Expertise: Strong grasp of architectural principles, spatial planning, and detailing.
- Technical Precision: Ability to produce accurate construction drawings and specifications.
- Visualization: Proficient in developing 3D models and visual concepts using tools such as, 3ds Max, VRay or Revit. Any additional skills in Blender, ZBrush, Mari, Houdini, Dinema 4D, Katana, Clarisse, Nuke, Silhouette, Mocha, Noodle, After Effects & Fusion
- Software Fluency: Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Revit, Lumion, or equivalent software is highly desirable.
- Project Coordination: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple deliverables across concurrent projects.
- Communication: Clear, concise verbal and written communication for coordination with internal teams, clients, and authorities.
- Problem-Solving: A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to handle site issues or technical constraints.
