We are seeking an experienced, organised, and technically competent Production Manager – Fire Fighting Pumps to oversee the complete manufacturing cycle of fire pumps, ensuring high-quality output, on-time delivery, and compliance with industry and safety standards. This role requires strong leadership, production planning expertise, and in-depth knowledge of fire pump systems and manufacturing processes.Key ResponsibilitiesManage end-to-end production of fire fighting pumps, including assembly, testing, quality checks, and dispatch.Develop and implement production plans, schedules, and resource allocation to meet delivery targets.Supervise production teams, ensuring adherence to procedures, work instructions, and safety standards.Coordinate with design, procurement, QA/QC, planning, and logistics to ensure smooth workflow.Monitor production KPIs, identify bottlenecks, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.Ensure compliance with NFPA, UL/FM, and other relevant fire protection standards.Oversee testing procedures, performance checks, and troubleshooting of pump systems.Maintain inventory levels of raw materials, components, and consumables.Ensure preventive maintenance of machinery and production equipment.Train, mentor, and evaluate production staff to enhance efficiency and performance.Prepare and review production reports, cost analyses, and operational documentation.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.Minimum 5–7 years of experience in pump manufacturing; fire fighting pump experience preferred (UL/FM processes are an advantage).Strong leadership and team management skills.Proven experience in production planning, process optimisation, and factory operations.Good knowledge of quality systems, safety standards, and lean manufacturing practices.Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, BOMs, and technical specifications.Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
