· Plan, develop and implement training and practice sessions· Nurture and develop athletes’ abilities, physical skills and stamina· Teach gymnasts the techniques, rules, tactics and strategies of gymnastics· Monitor and enhance performance by providing mentoring, encouragement, and constructive feedback· Identify strengths and weaknesses of athletes and plan strategies to harness and improve these· Ensure all safety guidelines and standards are adhered to during training and practice· Develop and maintain positive working relationships with athletes, parents, and other coaches· Assist in the organization of gymnastics competitions or events· Stay up-to-date with the latest gymnastics techniques, equipment and trends
