ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
� 1. Business Development & Market Expansion
Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities across UAE and GCC markets for copper products
Build a structured pipeline of target accounts across key industrial sectors including:
Cable manufacturing
Transformer and switchgear production
Busbar fabrication
Panel building
EPC contractors
Electrical OEMs
Industrial manufacturing and infrastructure projects
Conduct regular market visits to identify new opportunities and strengthen market presence
Expand customer base through proactive hunting, networking, and relationship building
� 2. Country Sales Ownership
Own sales performance for assigned territory/market segment
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and margin targets
Drive disciplined pipeline management from lead generation to order closure
Ensure consistent market coverage through structured customer engagement
Balance new business acquisition with existing account growth (hunting + farming model)
� 3. Key Account Management
Manage and develop strategic accounts across industrial and electrical sectors
Build long-term relationships with procurement heads, plant managers, technical buyers, and senior decision-makers
Develop account growth plans focused on wallet share expansion and repeat business
Ensure strong customer retention through proactive engagement and service excellence
� 4. Product Sales & Solution Selling
Promote full copper product portfolio including:
Copper Rods
Copper Busbars
Copper Strips
Copper Wires
Copper Profiles
Copper Cathodes
Understand customer technical requirements and align them with suitable product solutions
Coordinate with internal technical teams to ensure correct product specification and customer satisfaction
� 5. Pricing, Negotiation & Commercial Closure
Prepare and manage commercial offers in coordination with internal teams
Lead negotiations with customers within approved pricing frameworks
Ensure margin protection while remaining competitive in the market
Handle deal closure efficiently with strong follow-up discipline
Monitor LME-linked pricing trends and adjust customer communication accordingly
� 6. Sales Planning, Forecasting & Reporting
Maintain accurate sales pipeline and opportunity tracking system
Provide regular forecasts on expected sales, closures, and market trends
Track lost business, pricing pressure, and competitor activity
Ensure accurate reporting of daily/weekly/monthly sales activities
Support management with market intelligence and demand insights
� 7. Cross-Functional Coordination
Work closely with production, supply chain, logistics, finance, and customer service teams
Ensure smooth execution from order placement to delivery
Align customer expectations with production capability and delivery timelines
Support credit control and collections coordination where required
� 8. Customer Retention & Market Intelligence
Ensure high customer satisfaction through responsive communication and service support
Monitor competitor activity, pricing trends, and market movements
Identify new market opportunities and product applications
Provide actionable feedback to senior management for strategic decision-making
