Installs security systems components, units and printed circuit boards following instructions from Project Engineer e.g. cameras, motion detectors, electronic locks etc.
Installs structured cabling for various systems i.e. CCTV, Access control, Intrusion detection etc.
Install and service various Intrusion, CCTV, and Access Control Systems in both commercial and high end residential environments.
Travel to various customer sites performing installation and service work.
Be a highly motivated self-starter capable of working independently as well as in group settings.
Be well organized and able to multi-task.
Have good verbal and written communications skills.
Have experience using test electronic equipment for reading voltage e.g. digital multimeter.
Be experienced and able to use hand tools and small power tools e.g. drilling machines, screwdrivers & cutters.
Be able to read and understand technical drawings, datasheets, and written work instructions.
Having prior education, training & knowledge of basic electronics, security systems e.g. IP Surveillance, Intrusion detection, Access control and\or electronic power supplies are all plusses.
Should have initiative to fabricate parts, cables to ensure an installation will be successfully executed.
Works closely with the Project Engineer.
Should haven knowledge of common safety practices.
