- Safely operate and maintain the vehicle, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and regulations to prevent accidents and ensure timely deliveries.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle, identifying and addressing any mechanical issues to guarantee safe and efficient operation.
- Plan and navigate optimal delivery routes using GPS and maps to maximize efficiency and minimize delays.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring that items are secured properly and the vehicle is balanced to prevent damage during transit.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients, providing updates on delivery status and any potential delays.
- Keep accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance to support operational efficiency and accountability.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the vehicle interior and exterior, maintaining a professional appearance for client interactions.
