About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Dry Utility Engineer to join our dynamic team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have 3-7 years of experience in designing Electrical cables, ITS, Du, Etisalat, Escada, Road Lightings and Traffic Signals, with at least 1-2 years specifically in Dubai. Experience with road and infrastructure design consultancy firms in Dubai will be considered a significant advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead infrastructure engineering efforts by coordinating design elements with clients, consultants, and cross-functional teams
• Develop concept planning, preliminary designs, and detailed designs for HV, MV and LV networks including the preparation of single line diagrams and layouts for infrastructure projects
• Prepare technical calculations, drawings, specifications, and associated documentation
• Create electrical load demand sheets and voltage drop calculations
• Prepare lux calculations (DiaLux software) for street lighting.
• Understanding of ROW requirements and UCDM
• Develop utility corridor cross-sections through coordination with all infrastructure disciplines
• Load estimation for the infrastructure plots, pumpstations, lifting stations, etc.
• Prepare comprehensive concept, preliminary, and detailed design reports
• Assist in tender document preparation, including Bills of Quantities and specifications
• Prepare complete packages for construction issue
• Coordinate and follow up on approval processes with relevant authorities and stakeholders
• Support quality assurance and timely delivery of infrastructure projects
• Assist Principal Engineers and provide mentorship to Graduate Designers
• Support bid preparation by providing technical inputs based on RFP requirements
• Manage project planning, including forecasting, scheduling, and resource allocation
• Provide technical support to site teams by addressing RFIs and queries
• Maintain effective team communication to minimize conflicts
• Outline cost and quantity estimation for dry services
