Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fire and Life Safety (FLS) Engineer with 8-10 years of experience in fit-outs and facility management. The ideal candidate will possess relevant certifications and have significant experience with infrastructure and commercial high-rise buildings. The FLS Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of fire and life safety systems and equipment within the facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operation & Maintenance:Oversee and manage the daily operations of fire and life safety systems within the facility.
  Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of fire alarm systems, sprinklers, emergency lighting, and other safety equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  Diagnose and troubleshoot issues promptly to minimize downtime and ensure safety compliance.
  Coordinate with other engineering teams for integrated facility management.
  
• Fit-Out Projects:Lead fire and life safety engineering aspects of fit-out projects from conception to completion.
  Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure fire and life safety systems meet project specifications and standards.
  Review and approve fire and life safety designs and plans.
  
• Facility Management:Implement and manage preventive maintenance programs for all fire and life safety systems.
  Ensure compliance with local and international fire safety regulations and standards.
  Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
  
• Compliance and Safety:Ensure all fire and life safety installations and maintenance comply with local regulations and safety standards.
  Conduct safety audits and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  Promote a culture of safety within the team and across the facility.
  
• Technical Support:Provide technical support and guidance to the facility management team.
  Stay updated with the latest advancements in fire and life safety engineering and apply best practices.
