Job Description: M365 Security and Checkpoint Email and Endpoint Security Analyst

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated M365 Security and Checkpoint Email and Endpoint Security Analyst to join our IT security team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and securing our Microsoft 365 environment, email systems, and endpoint devices. This role requires a deep understanding of M365 security features, Checkpoint technologies, and endpoint protection strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Microsoft 365 Security Management:
• Configure and manage M365 security features including Conditional Access, MFA, and Data Loss Prevention (DLP).
• Monitor and respond to security incidents and alerts within the M365 environment.
• Conduct regular security assessments and audits to ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
• Implement and manage M365 Information Protection policies.
• Checkpoint Email Security:
• Manage and maintain Checkpoint email security solutions to protect against phishing, malware, and other email-based threats.
• Monitor email security alerts and respond to incidents in a timely manner.
• Develop and implement email security policies and best practices.
• Conduct regular security training and awareness sessions for end-users.
• Endpoint Security Management:
• Deploy, configure, and manage endpoint security solutions to protect devices from threats.
• Monitor endpoint security alerts and manage incident response activities.
• Ensure endpoints are compliant with security policies and standards.
• Perform vulnerability assessments and patch management for endpoints.
• Security Incident Response:
• Lead and coordinate incident response activities for security breaches and threats.
• Conduct root cause analysis and develop remediation plans for security incidents.
• Document and report on security incidents, including impact assessment and lessons learned.
• Collaboration and Communication:
• Work closely with IT teams, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure the security of the organization's infrastructure.
• Provide expert guidance on security best practices and emerging threats.
• Participate in the development and implementation of security policies, procedures, and standards.
