- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with learning disabilities or special needs
- Assist in the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior management strategies
- Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to develop and modify curriculum and instructional materials
- Provide instructional support to students in various subjects, including reading, writing, and math
- Monitor and record student progress, and provide feedback to teachers and parents
- Assist with classroom management and maintaining a safe and inclusive learning environment
- Support students during transitions and help them develop social skills and independence
- Adapt and modify instructional strategies and materials to meet the unique needs of each student
