- Conduct on-site inspection and supervision of marine coating application projects in dry dock environments.
- Ensure coating procedures align with NACE, SSPC, ISO, and manufacturer specifications.
- Possess strong product knowledge of International Paints (AkzoNobel), Jotun, and Hempel marine and protective coatings product lines.
- Prepare and submit comprehensive project estimates, including surface area calculations, material requirements, man-hours, and coating systems in line with the client project scope of work.
- Accurately compile and deliver detailed inspection reports to clients in a timely and professional manner.
- Provide technical support to the sales team by assisting in the preparation of quotes, attending client meetings, and offering coating system recommendations based on customer needs.
- Advise clients and contractors on surface preparation, environmental conditions, coating application methods, and curing standards.
- Monitor safety and environmental compliance during all coating operations.
- Liaise with shipyard personnel, coating contractors, and internal technical teams.
- Investigate and resolve technical issues related to coating performance and application failures.
- Assist in product training and technical presentations for clients and applicators.
- Maintain knowledge of industry trends, regulations, and advancements in marine coating technologies.
