Conduct on-site inspection and supervision of marine coating application projects in dry dock environments.
Ensure coating procedures align with NACE, SSPC, ISO, and manufacturer specifications.
Possess strong product knowledge of International Paints (AkzoNobel), Jotun, and Hempel marine and protective coatings product lines.
Prepare and submit comprehensive project estimates, including surface area calculations, material requirements, man-hours, and coating systems in line with the client project scope of work.
Accurately compile and deliver detailed inspection reports to clients in a timely and professional manner.
Provide technical support to the sales team by assisting in the preparation of quotes, attending client meetings, and offering coating system recommendations based on customer needs.
Advise clients and contractors on surface preparation, environmental conditions, coating application methods, and curing standards.
Monitor safety and environmental compliance during all coating operations.
Liaise with shipyard personnel, coating contractors, and internal technical teams.
Investigate and resolve technical issues related to coating performance and application failures.
Assist in product training and technical presentations for clients and applicators.
Maintain knowledge of industry trends, regulations, and advancements in marine coating technologies.
