JOB SUMMARY
The Project Manager’s role is to ensure the project is completed on time and within the budget. It is his responsibility to oversee the project to ensure the desired result is achieved, from the beginning stages through to completion. The Project Manager manages and coordinates the project through all phases, including design, permits, and construction. Operates independently as the principal project representative.

A. ENGINEERING

1. Read, understand, and analyze the IFC (Issued for Construction) drawings.
2. Read, understand, and analyze the specifications and the BOQ (Bill of Quantities).
3. Understand the scope of work in detail.
4. Raise any RFIs (Requests for Information) required for work execution.
5. Notify the head office management of any variations.
6. Monitor engineering progress and notify the Engineering Department of any delays that may impact site execution.
7. Monitor the procurement report and inform the Procurement Department of any delays that may affect the progress on-site.

B. COORDINATION

1. Coordinate with the site team, ensuring all tasks are assigned in an organized manner.
2. Ensure the site team understands the detailed tasks to be completed.
3. Check with the site team for accurate manpower allocation.
4. Lead weekly site meetings and guide the team on project requirements.
5. Meet with the head office management to discuss project progress.
6. Follow head office instructions and ensure they are executed.
7. Ensure correct methods of execution and proper material usage.
8. Avoid material wastage and prevent damage.
9. Ensure site safety measures are in place and followed.
10. Oversee manpower productivity.
11. Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure all NOC (No Objection Certificates) and clearances are obtained.
12. Ensure subcontractors are aware of their scope of work.
13. Maintain coordination with the consultant and relevant authorities.

C. EXECUTION

1. Read, understand, and analyze the execution schedule provided by the head office.
2. Notify the head office of any delays caused by any party, in order for the Head Office to take appropriate action.
3. Inform the head office of any variations in order for the Head Office to prepare the official variation orders.

D. REPORTING

1. Review the daily reports submitted by the project engineer.
2. Prepare the two-week-ahead schedule and submit it to the head office.
3. Prepare the monthly progress report and submit it to the head office.
