We are seeking a highly experienced R&D Mechanical Design Senior Engineer Or Supervisor with strong expertise in mechanical design, fabrication, and product development.

The ideal candidate should have a solid engineering foundation with leadership capabilities to guide mechanical development and support ongoing R&D, fabrication, and patent-oriented projects.
You will lead and supervise the design and mechanical build efforts on the shaft floor and collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure smooth product realization and prototype development.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the mechanical design and development of R&D automation systems and customized machines.
• Supervise and guide the mechanical fabrication team during the prototype build and final assembly.
• Create precise 2D/3D CAD models and fabrication drawings using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
• Manage the selection and integration of key mechanical components: conveyors, motors, elevators,
jacks, actuators, etc.
• Oversee sheet metal processes including laser cutting, plasma cutting, bending, welding, and assembly.
• Design and support refrigerated and insulated mechanical systems across various storage
temperatures (chilled and non-chilled).
• Ensure mechanical integration with control and automation systems (motors, drives, sensors).
• Contribute to patent documentation, drawings, and technical descriptions.
• Perform fitment analysis, tolerance checks, and design validation for manufacturability.
• Ensure safety and quality control in all R&D fabrication and mechanical build processes.
• Support the shaft floor operations with hands-on guidance and problem-solving during fabrication and system testing.
