- Ability to verify the mechanical design & review (Plumbing, HVAC & Smoke Management)
- Run HAP calculations
- Awareness of ASHRAE standards related to the ventilation systems, in line with ESTIDAMA/Green Buildings requirements
- Knowledge of local civil defence code requirements related to ventilation systems
- Coordination and sufficient knowledge about fire protection system
- Awareness of ADDC requirements for domestic water supply system
- Awareness of water supply systems sizing in accordance to the local and international plumbing codes
- Material submittals review and submission
- Shop drawings preparation, review and submission.
- Material take-off and orders
- Supervise the site engineers and assign them the tasks for smooth progress
- Liaise with the engineer for workshops related to the shop drawings and material submittals
