• Project Supervision: Lead the direct field and administrative oversight of the project site, managing all construction, installation, testing, and commissioning activities for the substation.
• Schedule Management: Develop detailed project plans, monitor progress, and control the critical path to ensure adherence to project milestones and deadlines.
• Budget Control: Monitor project costs and expenditures, ensuring the project is executed within the approved budget, and prepare regular financial status reports.
• Quality & Safety Management: Enforce and implement the highest standards of quality and safety throughout all project phases, ensuring compliance with safety regulations (e.g., OSHA or local equivalents) and maintaining a zero-accident environment.
• Team Management: Lead, direct, and motivate the on-site project team (including engineers, supervisors, contractors, and laborers), conduct performance evaluations, and delegate tasks effectively.
• Client Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for the Saudi Electricity Company (SEC), ensuring their requirements are met, leading progress review meetings, and addressing any objections or inquiries promptly.
• Contractor & Vendor Management: Oversee the performance of subcontractors and suppliers, review their work, and ensure their compliance with project specifications and contracts.
• Reporting: Prepare and submit detailed periodic reports (weekly and monthly) to senior management on project progress, potential risks, issues, and proposed solutions.
• Problem-Solving: Proactively identify and resolve any technical, logistical, or administrative issues that arise during project execution, making decisive decisions to keep the project on track.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil) or equivalent.
• Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in managing the construction and commissioning of high-voltage electrical substation projects.
• Mandatory Experience:
  Proven and direct prior experience in managing 380kV and/or 220 kV substation project sites.
• Extensive and demonstrated experience in dealing with the Saudi Electricity Company (SEC), including a strong understanding of their systems, procedures, and technical requirements.
