- Collaborate with engineers and architects to convert conceptual designs into practical drawings, addressing any discrepancies promptly.
- Prepare and modify construction documents, including plans, sections, and details, while maintaining a consistent project timeline.
- Review and analyse design specifications to ensure structural integrity and feasibility, making necessary adjustments.
- Assist in the preparation of project estimates and material take-offs to support budgeting and procurement processes.
- Implement drafting standards and best practices in all drawings to enhance clarity and usability for construction teams.
- Field verification of site conditions to ensure accuracy of designs and drawings, minimizing costly redesigns.
- Stay current with industry trends, materials, and technologies to continuously improve drafting techniques and project outcomes.
