The Workshop Mechanic is responsible for repairing and maintaining vehicles, equipment, tools, etc. to meet Veolia standards.
Responsibilities:
Receiving the vehicle, equipment, tool etc., and checking on the problem for repair.
Carry out the services as per the "Preventive Maintenance Program".
Diagnose any mechanical-related issues which are assigned by the mechanical team leader.
Repair any mechanical-related or vehicle system-related faults as required.
Assess the vehicle and check if it will be repaired or replaced with another spare part.
Preparing all the necessary measurements for the quantity and quality of materials and spare parts.
Receiving the vehicle, equipment, tool, etc. and indicating the problem for repair.
Analyse the cause of the breakdown and determine the correct course of action for the repair process.

Ensure that the vehicle, equipment, tool, etc., has no problems before delivering.
Respond to work orders in a timely and courteous manner. Ensure all job cards are closed on the same day.
Executing safety and hygiene instructions inside the workshop.
Maintain all tools and equipment in good repair and working condition.
Using the safety and preventive uniform (PPE).
Keeping all materials clean and organised.
Responsible for 24-hour emergency maintenance service as scheduled.
Do not start or immediately stop any activity if you believe it cannot be done safely, or if it fails to meet Veolia's environmental and health standards.
Follow the job safety plans and requirements laid down in the Permit to Work form.
Ensure to follow all of the company rules, policies, procedures and work instructions.
Respond rapidly to requests for emergency and non-emergency assistance in a professional manner.
Assist in the development and training of the junior members of the workshop.
Coordinates with Veolia employees to achieve the required tasks.
Diligently perform any other reasonable work or related tasks at the request of the senior.
