Basic experience in the measurement and quantification of building works and Bills of Quantities. Professional approach and confident in your ability to add value to our team. Job Purpose The Ground Support Equipment (GSE) Maintenance Technician actively participates in all aspects of servicing, repair, and maintenance of various heavy duties Ground Support Equipment (GSE).Responsible for assisting the equipment mechanic team members in performing maintenance of all the ground support equipment as well as Company vehicles which cover minor repairs and diagnosing possible defects to ensure efficiency, serviceability, safety and security when used in all airport ramp and ground handling operations. Key Result Responsibilities Perform regular and daily inspections, servicing, and repairs on all ground support equipment, ensuring operational efficiency and safety. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on GSE, including heavy-duty vehicles and equipment. Carry out preventive maintenance tasks as per manufacturer s specifications, including lubrication, tire replacements, and tune-ups. Update maintenance records and logs accurately, detailing work performed, parts used, and time spent on each task. Assist in the identification and reporting of defective equipment or components and recommend replacement parts when necessary. Maintain a clean, organized work area and adhere to safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Collaborate with the GSE Supervisor to plan and prioritize maintenance tasks based on operational needs. Ensure equipment is identified as serviceable or unserviceable and follow appropriate procedures for handling non-serviceable items. Support the inventory management of spare parts and tools, ensuring necessary materials are available for maintenance tasks. Adhere to company policies, procedures, and quality standards for all maintenance activities. Actively participate in SMS Key Result Responsibilities - Continued Qualifications (Academic, training, languages) Vocational Training/certification in technical fields like mechanical, automobile, auto electrical or Minimum of 1 years of experience in GSE maintenance, with hands-on experience in repairing and servicing heavy-duty equipment. Work Experience Vocational Training/certification in technical fields like mechanical, automobile, auto electrical or Minimum of 1 years of experience in GSE maintenance, with hands-on experience in repairing and servicing heavy-duty equipment. Familiar with GSE troubleshooting mechanical and electrical faults will be advantage. Ability to use maintenance tools and equipment effectively. Basic computer skills for updating maintenance records and inventory management.
