All our employees enjoy access to dynamic career opportunities across different fields and industries.Join us and Make an Impact.Responsible forrobust estimation processes to deliver best in quality and cost competitivebids to make Sales successful and enable achievement of HBS regional salestargets.Working within theProposal & Estimation (P&E) team, as an Estimator you will work with multiplefunctions like supply chain, finance, contracts/legal, and you will beresponsible of the delivery of the high-quality Technical Solutions & BidProposals on time, and in line with Honeywell standards of quality.You will beresponsible to manage multiple RFP enquiries (direct invitation to Honeywellvia Sales and/or Business Development Teams) or bids open in response to opentenders. You will also be required to manage the bid process within theguidelines established by Honeywell bidding processes and procedures.To be successfulyou will need to be very well organized, with sound project management skills,able to work within a team and across functional organization.Key Responsibilities:• Estimation of BMS, Fire, Security packages - Input study,generation of RFI s, equipment take-off, device selection, Solutiondesign, Controller and Server Sizing, preparation of BOQ costing, cableschedule.• Understanding of ICT Systems like Active, Passive and CybersecuritySolutions shall be added advantage.• Proposals- Studying specifications and arrive at inclusion/exclusion list, qualifications/ assumptions/ deviations along with thetechnical proposal.• Technical submittals - Preparation of system architecture, floorrisers, specification compliance etc. as per regional requirements.• Commercial exposure - Vendor management, taxations.• Contributing and tracking the regional technical preferences onestimations, awareness of the product ranges, ability to apply knowledgeand understanding of Honeywell products to develop solutions that meetcustomer requirements.• Performing quality checks for the jobs.• Contribute towards establishing & standardization of newprocesses for cost optimization & cycle time reduction.• Sound Knowledge of business processes and systems.• Provide competitive insight from past opportunities and apply"lessons learned" to the assigned opportunities to generateeffective counter strategies. Take Lead Role in Design & Estimation ofall System Proposals that get approved in the BNB and any other emergencybids.• Provide accurate technical solutions for all Security System, ELVBid Proposals.• Should be able to size & select the Servers, Storages alongwith needed Calculations.• Ability to propose secure LAN, WAN, VPNs for the Hardware deployedat one site or across cluster of buildings in one location or differentcities.• Take LeadRole in chartering L Review Calls for all the Bids handled. Work Closelywith Honeywell COE (Center of Excellence) Estimation Team based in Puneand TAC Team in Bangalore and obtain TRR approvals in a timely mannerprior to the L Review Calls for bidding.• Work closely with the Project Operations Team and obtain inputs forenhancing solutions proposed.• Assist the P&E Leader in Preparing Bid Programs for allFAS/Security/BMS etc. Bids.• Assistance with the creating highly professional technical andcommercial proposals suitable for presentation to the highest levels ofmanagement.• Reviewing scope for all opportunities and proposals and deliver ontechnical compliance statements.• Work closely with sales & business development teams inunderstanding and assessing customer s requirements.• Selecting the proper combination of hardware, software, equipment,materials, and services that will deliver the highest value to thecustomer while supporting overall Honeywell business objectives.• Must have the ability to multitask and produce desired results in adeadline driven environment. Proposals include technical scope, commercial estimates,deliverables, schedules and terms and conditions and other variables tomeet customer requests and expectations. All proposal work must becompleted according to Honeywell professional standards.• Train other members of the P&E team on the standards ofestimation followed in KSA by arranging and conducting Share & LearnSessions.Key Skills and Qualifications:• BE in related discipline preferably Instrumentation & Control,Electronics & Electrical Engineering etc.• Work experience in relevant field Min 3-8 years.• Exposure to BMS, Fire, Security and ELV Systems.• Flexible Job working hours to suit regional requirements.• Working hours flexibility to meet deadlines.• Pre-sales process knowledge.• Ability to manage jobs and/ or projects to standards, budgets.• Value engineered approach in all the deliverables.• MS office (Excel & word) competency.
