Power Production Technician (USN)QATAR AL UDEIDJob Summary: As the Power Production Technician at Al Udeid Airforce Base in Qatar, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and effective operation of prime power generation and power distribution to on-base facilities. This position requires strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and unwavering commitment to safety. You will be responsible to operate and maintain a density of equipment that include Gas- and Diesel-powered generators, ATS and MTS switches, and refueling support of power generation equipment. The Power Production Technician will be responsible respond to the base within a two hour notification to interface with authorized U.S. Government personnel. Work experience operating and maintaining generators ranging from 5 to 4,300 kilowatts is required. Education, Experience, and required credentials.Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in the electrical power generation field.Must be a Journeyman or Master Electrician with valid Electrician certification and license issued by a recognized credentialing authority within any recognized U.S state or recognized U.S. Territory and be in current expiration period.
