Job OverviewThe Project Engineer is responsible for delivering technical expertise in the planning, design, and operational execution of completions in gas production wells, specifically those with ≥7” in diameter. The role supports both pre-job planning and ongoing operations, with a focus on tool design, deployment methods, QA/QC, and adherence to industry and internal standards. This position is pivotal in ensuring successful, safe, and cost-effective well completion services in line with project and client requirements.Responsibilities:Provide advanced technical support for the planning, design, and execution of large-diameter completion operations, including Packers, Safety Valves and service tools.Support deployment of completion equipment using slick-line, braided line, coiled tubing, and conventional work strings.Monitor daily operations, providing technical support and troubleshooting when required.Prepare full operational procedures for all Completions operations to be conducted.Conduct simulations and modeling (torque & drag analysis, hydraulics, tubing movement, etc)Serve as the focal point and primary technical interface between Company and Customer, ensuring that correct parameters, tool selection and installation procedures are being followed.Conduct equipment design reviews, support with pre-job planning and qualification of completions systems and components.Ensure compliance with the company’s Quality Management System (QMS), ISO 9001, and ISO TS 29001 standards.Contribute to enhance the customer’s operational efficiency, safety and service quality.Participate in risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies for completions-related hazards.Assist with QA/QC inspections and ensure inspection tools and techniques meet required specifications.Remain on-call 24/7 to provide urgent technical support and guidance when operational needs arise.Maintain accurate and timely documentation related to completions design, execution reports, and post-job reviews.
