· Responsible for plumbing and piping works on board ships/ platforms and fabrication works at workshops.Liaise with other discipline Leads/ Engineers to ensure value engineering, optimum utilization of available resources, with the overall objective of successful completion of the project.Review of customer documents, specifications, and drawings and ensure construction activities are in line with approved procedures, method statements and approved drawings.Inputs to draughtsman/ modeller for preparation of P &ID, layouts and material selections etc.Participate in 3D model reviews, interface checks etc.Review and propose improvements in existing pipe fabrication, fittings and installation works.Oversee pressure testing and leak test activities in accordance with specifications, codes and standards.Responsible for review of piping & plumbing related procedures and documents including test packs.Carryout site inspection and surveys and prepare estimates.Planning activities and ensure that all the resource and manpower planning is conducted to meet project requirements.Review and prepare RFQ, MR, Technical evaluation of vendor proposal, vendor selection etc.Ensure that the workers are properly supplied with machineries, tools, equipment and materials and everything is in proper order and state of maintenance.Perform inspections to ensure that the Foremen and Workers performance is up to the set standards.Review and prepare progress reports on a daily basis and ensure that any significant information is communicated to the Engineer or Lead /Manager i.e. resource shortfalls, surplus, HSEQ concerns.Provide personnel appraisal and training requirement, motivate and develop subordinates.Follow the day-to-day operations related to own job to ensure continuity of work

Carry out duties assigned by Superior for day-to-day operations and to ensure them to compliance with the established standards and proceduresPrepare drawing & document registers/ DDR/ SDRLsMonitor and control of design and document deliverables as per schedule and construction priority.Coordination with design and drafting personnel for checking and issuing of drawings.Ensure document & drawing control in accordance with DDW-D procedures and project specifications.Preparation of drawings and documentation for approval of Class and statutory bodies.Follow-up with Design & drafting personnel to expedite RFQs to vendors, Material Requisitions (MR), data sheets, Technical Bid evaluation of vendor proposals.Follow-up on EQs/TQs, schedule model reviews in consultation with client.Follow-up on MOMs, pending deliverables etc.Review client specifications and prepare clear scope matrix, raise TQ/ EQ and clarifications.

· Producing basic and detail engineering deliverables for Control & Instrumentation based on P&ID's, project specific design standards and requirements by classification society if applicable.· Developing cause & effect diagrams for HVAC systems, Process instrumentation, communication system, ESD Systems, F&G Systems and obtaining necessary class approvals· Developing Control System Architecture for DCS/ PLC/ SCADA, ESD, F&G/ SIL Systems· Developing datasheets/ RFQ for Control valves, ESD valves, Blow-down valves, Pressure Safety Valves and Field Instruments· Selection of Control valves, ESD valves, Blow-down valves, Pressure Safety Valves· Selection of Electro-Pneumatic Process Instruments & Control Systems, which include Flow/ Level/ Pressure/ Temperature - Transmitters/ Switches/ Gauges.· Selection of Analyzers, Custody-Measurement Equipment/ Sampling Systems, Fusible Loop systems, Pneumatic/ Hydraulic & Electronic Controllers· Experience with major Control System vendors from technical bidding stage till installation and commissioning completion.· Developing Process Control System, ESD and F&G Philosophies and control narrative.· Implement the day-to-day operations assigned for the engineering department/section to ensure compliance with the established standards and procedures
