• Full-cycle accounting: Manage accounts payable/receivable (AP/AR), general ledger (GL), bank reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closings. • Project-based accounting: Record Day-to-day transactions tied to construction activities—materials, labour, subcontractor invoices, retention, variations, progress billing, revenue recognition, and accruals. • Cost control & budgeting: Monitor project costs, prepare job costing reports, assist with budgets and forecasts, and provide variance analysis. • VAT & compliance: Ensure adherence to UAE VAT regulations, prepare filings, reconcile VAT transactions, and liaise with auditors/regulatory authorities. • Financial reporting: Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements, cash flow projections, MIS reports, and ad-hoc financial analysis. • Internal controls & audits: Implement and maintain internal controls, support internal/external audits, and manage documentation for financial reviews. • Stakeholder coordination: Work closely with project team, departments, and finance teams to track costs, validate invoices, and support procurement documentation.
