JOB SUMMARY

Assist in the development, performance, and maintenance of the financial activities of the organization. Analyzes management accounting information/reports highlighting key area where higher management attention is required. Provides support service to Line manager. Support the management with relevant consolidated/standalone reports on monthly/need basis.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Co-ordinate with the Head of Finance, the team and close the books of accounts of Group entities on monthly basis.
  • Preparation of financial reports and forecasts, income statements, balance sheets, and financial management reports such as QBR, MBR etc.
  • Ensure maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Assist in the management of all accounting procedures and systems are followed as per Company Policy
  • Assist in assessment of the long-term financial trends and review prospects for future growth of income and new sales areas.
  • Assist in the review of reports, analyse projections of sales and income against budget/forecast and suggests methods of improving the relevant area.
  • Assist in achieving maximum profitability and growth in accordance with organisation plans.
  • Assist in the management and recruitment of team members, subject to agreed criteria.
  • Train and appraise individual team members to ensure Goals are met.
  • Liaising with other department and business unit heads in the company to obtain financial data so that records can be updated for accurate management reporting.
  • Supervise the payments/collections.
  • Supervise and review the P&L and Balance Sheet schedules on periodical basis.
  • Liaise with external/internal auditors to provide the required information time to time.
  • Assist the Head of Finance to develop strategic plans and ways to reduce spending and increase the profitability.
  • Coordinates with IT department to make changes / improvements in the system including automation of reporting, preparation of dashboards etc.
  • Other day to day responsibilities for the team as well as smooth running of the finance/accounting operations
  • Performs other duties as required by the Line Manager.
