- Collaborate closely with architects, structural engineers, and other disciplines to integrate electrical systems seamlessly into the overall project design.
- Conduct clash detection and resolution, identifying potential conflicts in the model to enhance coordination and reduce errors during construction.
- Prepare and document wiring diagrams, panel schedules, and electrical load calculations to support the project’s electrical design requirements.
- Utilize industry standards and best practices to ensure that all electrical designs are sustainable, efficient, and code-compliant.
- Assist in the preparation of project deliverables, including reports, presentations, and detailed drawings for client review.
- Participate in project meetings, providing input on electrical modeling aspects and addressing any design-related queries from the team.
- Continuously update models to reflect design changes and maintain version control throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support site installation teams with accurate and up-to-date BIM models, ensuring proper implementation of electrical systems in the field.
- Stay current with emerging BIM technologies and software advancements to enhance modeling efficiency and quality.
