Key Responsibilities
Gather, analyze, and document business requirements (BRD/FRD, user stories).
Work closely with banks, fintechs, and internal stakeholders to define solutions.
Drive end-to-end understanding of payment transaction lifecycle (authorization, clearing, settlement).
Support implementation of payment switch & gateway integrations.
Collaborate with tech teams on API integrations and system workflows.
Handle reconciliation, dispute management, and chargeback processes.
Ensure compliance with AML/CTF, sanctions, and PEP screening requirements.
Coordinate and manage UAT cycles, test cases, and defect tracking.
Perform data analysis (SQL) for validation and reporting.
Ensure alignment with card schemes (Visa/Mastercard) and UAE payment systems.
Primary Skills (Must-Have)
Strong experience in requirement gathering (BRD/FRD, user stories)
Deep knowledge of payments domain (cards, POS, ATM, online payments)
Understanding of transaction lifecycle (authorization, clearing, settlement)
Experience in payment switch/gateway integrations
Knowledge of ISO 8583 basics
Strong stakeholder management (banks, fintechs, vendors)
Experience with API integrations and system workflows
Hands-on with SQL / data analysis
Experience in UAT coordination and defect management
Secondary Skills (Good-to-Have)
Knowledge of reconciliation & chargebacks
Understanding of AML/CTF compliance, sanctions & PEP screening
Exposure to UAE payment ecosystem (UAESWITCH, local schemes)
Familiarity with Visa / Mastercard processing systems
Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
Basic understanding of microservices architecture
