Retail / Store / Hypermarket experience is mandatory

We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Buyer with a strong background in FMCG, particularly within the confectionery and drinks categories. The successful candidate will come from Supermarket or CTN retail environment, with a deep understanding of local demographics and a strong supplier network in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement data-driven buying strategies for the confectionery and drinks categories in line with customer trends and business objectives.

• Lead negotiations with suppliers, leveraging FMCG expertise and existing regional contacts to secure favorable terms and exclusive deals.

• Analyse market data and consumer insights to optimize product ranges, pricing, and promotions.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key FMCG suppliers

• Monitor and respond to competitor activity and evolving local demographic trends to maintain a competitive advantage.

• Collaborate with merchandising, supply chain, and marketing teams to ensure seamless category execution in-store and online.

• Conduct regular range reviews and category performance analysis to drive continuous improvement.

• Ensure all sourcing complies with regulatory, health & safety, and company standards
