Our Tier 1 Civil Contracting client has a new requirement for a well experienced Camp, Welfare and Security Manager to join their team in Dubai to work on a new offshore residential project. Successful candidates will have a proven background as a Camp and Welfare Manager looking after labor camps accommodating in excess of 350 staff and/or managing camps based offshore, ideally having worked for a main contractors previously managing labor camps, worker welfare, camp facilities and security.
This role is available for immediate joining and is hiring on a permanent, direct hire basis, employed by our client
Key Responsibilities:
The Camp, Welfare and Security Manager holds responsibility to manage company accommodation, facilities, camp administration, worker welfare, camp security and logistics coordination including drivers and transportation.
Manage daily operations of the workers’ camp and accommodation facilities
Maintain discipline, cleanliness, and hygiene within the camp premises
Allocate rooms and maintain updated occupancy records
Coordinate maintenance, repairs, and housekeeping activities
Ensure availability of water, electricity, and other basic services
Handle complaints and welfare issues of camp residents
Manage drivers, vehicle movements, and daily transportation schedules for site staff and workers
Coordinate logistics between camp, sites, and office for manpower transportation
Monitor fuel usage, vehicle condition, and driver attendance
Coordinate catering, cleaning, and laundry services (if applicable)
Ensure compliance with municipality and safety regulations
Maintain records of camp assets, furniture, vehicles, and equipment
Conduct regular inspections of rooms and common areas
