Key Responsibilities for Demi Chef de Partie – Kitchen Team
Support the Chef de Partie in preparing and presenting dishes to the highest standard in your designated section.
Follow kitchen recipes, portion control, and presentation specifications for all menu items consistently.
Assist with food preparation and mise en place for daily service, ensuring readiness and efficiency throughout shifts.
Maintain strict standards of hygiene and food safety, adhering to all HACCP and health and safety policies.
Monitor, record, and report stock levels and wastage, ensuring effective storage and usage of all ingredients.
Collaborate with the wider kitchen team, communicating effectively to ensure smooth service delivery and a positive working environment.
Assist in the training and support of junior staff, sharing best practices and upholding kitchen standards.
Ensure cleaning schedules are followed and workstations remain clean, organised, and safe at all times.
Adapt to changing priorities during busy periods and help other kitchen sections when required.
