Key Responsibilities: • Prepare daily meals as per family preferences, dietary requirements, and cultural or religious practices. • Plan balanced menus including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks. • Adjust meals for special needs (e.g., low-salt, diabetic, vegetarian, child-friendly meals). • Prepare food for guests, small gatherings, or special occasions when required. • Prepare grocery lists and inform the employer of required ingredients. • Assist with or manage grocery shopping if assigned. • Ensure proper storage of food items, including labeling and checking expiry dates. • Maintain inventory of kitchen supplies and inform employer of shortages. • Maintain high standards of cleanliness in the kitchen. • Follow food safety and hygiene standards while handling, cooking, and storing food. • Dispose of kitchen waste properly and keep the kitchen organized. • Prepare meals on time as per the household schedule. • Manage multiple dishes efficiently during peak meal times. • Operate kitchen appliances such as gas stoves, ovens, microwaves, blenders, and pressure cookers safely. • Report any malfunctioning kitchen equipment to the employer immediately. • Follow household instructions, confidentiality, and privacy expectations. • Respect cultural norms, house rules, and employer preferences. • Follow safety guidelines to prevent accidents or fire hazards.
