Safely drive and operate heavy vehicles, loading and transporting goods between the warehouse and delivery destinations as directed.
Complete accurate delivery and collection documentation
Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, reporting any maintenance needs or faults promptly.
Participate in general warehouse duties where required, including stock movement, palletizing, and assisting colleagues to ensure smooth daily operations.
Represent the company positively to clients, suppliers, and colleagues through professional, courteous behavior and communication.
Comply at all times with company safety policies, manual handling procedures, and all road transport laws and regulations.
Carry out daily vehicle safety checks, reporting and resolving issues to maintain roadworthiness and legal compliance.
Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow health and safety protocols in the warehouse and while on the road.
Ensure the correct and secure loading of goods to minimise damage and support safe transit.
Take proactive measures to prevent accidents, hazards, or delays during loading, unloading, or transit.
