· Knowledge of Industrial Automation systems, drives & motors, having experience in handling automation projects comprising engineering & commissioning for the Electrical industry.

· Implementation Phase activities including cabinet inspection and code reviews.

· Coordination with Document Controller for Control of Project documentation and QC Engineer for Inspection and Testing related activities.

· Conduct project testing including Cabinet Inspection, Loop Testing, Function Test and application Logic Test

· Design standardization meeting safety system and project requirements, technical review of project

· Experience in application programming for the Rolling process.

· Knowledge in application programming & HMI development/ modifications for PLC/ DCS systems, different communication protocols used between PLC & Drives or in automation.

· Should have programming knowledge and field experience in installation & commissioning of automation systems for Manufacturing Plants.

· Carrying out independent activities of basic and detailed engineering of Automation systems including hardware and application programming.

· Candidate should have hands-on working experience in PLC, SCADA, RTU, DCS systems.

· Good exposure to project planning/execution/plant commissioning

· Should be able to troubleshoot problems and initiate maintenance practices like Preventive & Predictive Maintenance

· Independently Handled various Engineering Packages - MV/LV System, MV Transformers, HT / LT / Control Cables, Water Complex Instrumentation and Automation

· Proficient in Handling Technical Issues through Root Cause Analysis
