Ø Should have knowledge of all relevant standards and guidelines i.e. TRANSCO, OETC, ADDC, SEC and KSA standards including the Grid Codes, IEC, IEEE, International guidelines etc.

Ø Preparation of design documents (concept design) which includes SLDs, Protection & Control schematics and layout drawings

Ø Prepare requisitions and technical evaluation of bids for discipline material and equipment procurement

Ø Identifying, evaluating, and resolving Electrical Engineering issues during the EPC phase.

Ø Review and approve within the specified approval durations, the EPC Contractor key deliverables and other works within the Electrical discipline, ensuring compliance with Electrical design requirements

Ø Carry out calculations & studies required to finalize electrical equipment specifications and review of calculations, specifications, plans, investigations, surveys, structures, system or equipment with relatively few complex features.

Ø Knowledge in all electrical calculation and studies i.e. transformer sizing, cable sizing, earthing, lightning systems, battery sizing, lighting and small power layouts, etc.

Ø Experience in electrical system studies like short circuit, load flow, relay setting, Insulation coordination, Grid Impact , Grid Compliance etc.

Ø Proficient to carry out electrical design and system studies software like Electrical AutoCAD, Dig silent, ETAP etc.

Ø Review and approve key design documents from Vendors, equipment manufacturers or Subcontractors and prepare comments and recommendations incorporating any comments received from the Owner.

Ø Supervise and manage the review and approval of EPC Contractor s work, ensuring compliance with Owner and Project specifications, relevant codes and standards, and industry best practices.

Ø Coordinate other discipline Engineer s participation in layout reviews, design reviews, and technical workshops.

Ø Review and approve of FAT Reports, SAT Procedures, Method Statements etc.

Ø Capable to attend Equipment FAT virtually.

Ø Influence Facilities and Equipment design optimization.

Ø Provide technical assistance and coordination with other discipline Engineers.
