Key Accountability 1: Process Management
Responsible for:
•    Creation of Bids
•    Managing and prioritising workload.
•    Bid/No Bid management.
•    Follow Bid Process Based on Clients budget constraints for any specific project, carrying out value engineering studies.
•    Review tender / contract documents to understand the complete scope for tendering projects.
•    Managing QS related works for the civil projects.
•    Contractors for outsourced scope of work. 
•    Provide technical advice regarding design, construction, or program modifications and structural repairs to industrial and managerial personnel.
•    Lead the development and preparation of RFP’s, Pre-Qualification, formal presentations.
•    Achieve Pre-sales targets set by the management.
Key Accountability 2: Build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
Responsible for:
•    Achieve and enhance customer satisfaction by meeting and /or exceeding the customer requirements.
•    Clear communications with all customers
•    Liaise internally with all departments especially HR, finance, operations and commercial.
•    Contribute to develop a customer focused service and a positive corporate image, including the maintenance of good working relationship with client, client representatives.
Key Accountability 3: Administration & Quality
Responsible for:
•    To manage the creation of bid related materials. 
•    Manage and control bid related stationery.
•    RFP and bid related documentation control.
•    Developing case studies, client profiles and other supporting documentation that showcases AFE Civil capabilities.
Key Accountability 4: Performance of Casual Jobs / Projects.
Responsible for:
•    Execution of Casual jobs / Projects, efficiently within the budget and ensure profitability.
•    Generate revenue from refurbishment / retrofit works.

Key Accountability 6: Management Information
Responsible for:
•    Manage and update all sales related MIS.
•    Proactively manage the renewal of all existing contracts.
Required Skills to be successful:
Job-Specific Skills:
•    Knowledge of facilities planning and construction management processes and procedures.
•    Carryout conditional assessments, prepare cost estimates, technical justifications for retrofit, replacement works.
•    Knowledge of estimating, budgeting, and scheduling practices.
•    Knowledge of current status of costs of new construction, escalation factors, and market trends.
•    Ability to understand and work with commercial requirements like plan cost, budgets limits, profit and loss.
•    Has a clear understanding of technical, commercial and finance related matters pertaining to the contracts.
•    Ability to manage time and workload effectively.
•    Knowledge of building codes and standards of practice, laws governing construction contracts and contracting.
•    Ability to identify the training needs of team members, coach, and guide team for better employee engagement. 
•    Knowledge of construction materials and methods.
•    Skills in reading and interpreting plans and specifications and to compare them with construction progress.
•    Ability to clearly communicate with client, team, engineer, managers, and other stake holders.

What equips you for the role
Minimum Qualifications, Certification and Knowledge:
•    Degree in Civil Engineering.  
•    Understanding of local market and knowledge of Public Entities, contractors and vendors.
•    Understanding of Fidic / Civil contracts. 
•    Some previous experience of cost estimation
•    Computer skills
•    UAE Driving License
•    High level of expertise on Auto Cad, word, excel, power point.
Minimum Experience:
4 - 5 years' experience in the Civil Fit out, Renovations Projects and bid/proposal production.
