Role Purpose-
Responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle management of all ICT infrastructure hardware and assets supporting SFM Sports Venues. This includes HCI, cloud platforms, CCTV systems, core infrastructure services, and all related assets. The role ensures operational readiness, compliance, and high availability for live events and venue operations
Responsibilities-
General Infrastructure Services Asset Management
Manage assets related to core ICT services (servers, switches, firewalls, UPS, AV equipment, etc.).
Ensure all infrastructure assets are tracked, maintained, and compliant with company standards.
Support hardware refresh cycles and ensure minimal disruption to venue operations.
Maintain spare inventory for urgent replacements during events.
HCI & Infrastructure Asset Management
Manage the lifecycle (procurement, deployment, maintenance, retirement) of HCI nodes, storage, and networking assets.
Maintain accurate records of all HCI and infrastructure assets in the Asset Management database/CMDB.
Ensure proper tagging, labeling, and documentation of all infrastructure assets.
Support rapid deployment and recovery for event operations.
Tracking Infrastructure Asset Management
Track and manage cloud-based assets (virtual machines, storage, networking components) used for venue operations.
Coordinate with cloud teams for provisioning, scaling, and decommissioning resources.
Maintain inventory of cloud licenses, subscriptions, and resource allocations.
Ensure compliance with cloud security and cost management policies.
Oversee inventory and lifecycle of CCTV cameras, NVRs, access control, and related security hardware.
Coordinate with security and operations teams for deployment, maintenance, and upgrades.
Maintain documentation and asset records for all surveillance and security systems.
Support incident response by ensuring asset readiness and availability.
Operational Support for Events
Provide Level 2 support for hardware and asset issues during live events.
Coordinate with ICT and venue operations teams for asset readiness before, during, and after events.
Ensure high availability and rapid recovery of critical infrastructure assets.
Support incident response and troubleshooting for infrastructure services.
ITAM Tools & Systems Management
Work with ITAM platforms such as Matrix42, SCCM/MECM, ServiceNow, Freshservice, or equivalent systems.
Ensure asset discovery tools are working correctly (agent-based/agentless scanning).
Generate asset reports for audits, budgeting, and compliance reviews.
Ensure adherence to IT asset management policies, security standards, and audit requirements.
Support internal and external audit activities through data validation and reporting.
Manage asset disposal as per company and environmental compliance guidelines.
Provide Level 2 support for hardware issues and escalations.
Assist in planning and execution of hardware refresh cycles.
Maintain spare inventory and ensure availability for urgent replacements.
Knowledge of the Windows client, Windows Server and Red Hat Linux Operating systems to enable the ITAM integration.
Procurement & Vendor Coordination
Coordinate with procurement for acquisition, renewals, AMC, and warranty claims for all ICT infrastructure assets.
Review technical specifications and ensure compliance with venue requirements.
Manage vendor relationships for warranty, repair, and replacement workflows.
Ensure timely delivery and readiness of hardware for scheduled events.
Audit, Compliance & Reporting.
Qualification-
8+ years hands on experience managing HCI, cloud, CCTV, and core ICT infrastructure assets.
Familiarity with ITAM tools (Matrix42, ServiceNow, SCCM/MECM, Lansweeper, etc.).
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
ITIL Foundation Certification (preferred).
Required Skillset:
Strong documentation and communication abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and meet event-driven deadlines.
Familiarity with HCI, cloud, CCTV, and infrastructure technologies.
Effective collaboration with ICT, security, and venue operations teams.
