HSE Engineer

We are seeking a qualified and proactive HSE Engineer with a strong background in Oil & Gas and Construction to oversee and implement health, safety, and environmental policies on-site. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with all regulatory and company standards, promoting a culture of safety excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies, procedures, and standards.
• Conduct risk assessments and enforce preventive safety measures.
• Monitor daily site operations to ensure adherence to safety protocols.
• Investigate incidents/accidents and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate and conduct safety training and toolbox talks for workers and staff.
• Maintain HSE documentation and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Liaise with contractors, clients, and local authorities on safety matters.
• Prepare and submit regular HSE performance reports to management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of HSE experience in Oil & Gas and Construction projects.
• Certification in NEBOSH IGC, OSHA, or equivalent HSE qualification is mandatory.
• In-depth knowledge of local and international HSE laws and standards.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiar with incident investigation tools and HSE management systems.
