1. Safety Culture & Training
• Evangelize Health and Safety norms, values, attitudes, and beliefs through sustained training and communication.
• Conduct safety induction for all employees and visitors.
• Ensure continuous education on safe methods, equipment usage, hazardous substances, emergency procedures, and PPE compliance.
2. HSE Documentation & Compliance
• Develop and maintain an HSE Manual incorporating business safety guidelines and statutory compliances.
• Ensure dissemination of safety standards through training and orientation programs.
• Advise site management on local health and safety laws and enforce zero-tolerance culture.
3. Risk Management & Hazard Assessment
• Conceptualize and implement a Risk Management Document highlighting hazard identification and control measures.
• Assess work activities for potential hazards and recommend appropriate control measures.
• Demarcate hazardous areas and install appropriate warning signage.
4. Incident Management
• Ensure timely investigation of incidents and accidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain proper documentation and analysis of all incidents.
5. Monitoring & Audits
• Measure safety performance indicators such as Accident Frequency Rate, Near Misses, and Fatalities.
• Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to ensure safe work practices.
• Ensure 100% compliance with established health and safety standards.
6. Emergency Preparedness
• Advise on emergency procedures, first aid facilities, safety signs, protective clothing, and equipment.
• Ensure incident reporting to relevant authorities as per compliance requirements.
7. Leadership & Engagement
• Drive leadership commitment through personal involvement, daily walkthroughs, and integrating safety into performance management systems.
• Promote a reward and penalty system for adherence to health and safety norms
