Roles & Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging science lessons aligned with the American curriculum standards for Grades 3–6.

• Develop lesson plans, teaching materials, and classroom activities that support inquiry-based and experiential learning.

• Conduct hands-on experiments, demonstrations, and practical activities to enhance students’ understanding of scientific concepts.

• Assess and evaluate students’ progress through tests, assignments, projects, and classroom participation.

• Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and assessment results.

• Create a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and scientific thinking.

• Implement effective classroom management strategies to maintain discipline and engagement.

• Integrate technology and digital learning tools to support interactive and modern teaching practices.

• Prepare students for school assessments and external inspection standards (ADEK/KHDA/MOE where applicable).

• Participate in school inspections, audits, and academic reviews, ensuring all required documentation and lesson evidence are maintained.

• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress, academic performance, and behavioral development.

• Collaborate with other teachers, coordinators, and school leadership to support curriculum planning and student development.

• Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and school events.

• Support school activities, science fairs, projects, and extracurricular programs related to STEM learning.

• Ensure compliance with school policies, safeguarding procedures, and UAE educational regulations.
