- Conduct on-site inspections of MEP materials to ensure quality and adherence to safety regulations before installation.
- Implement and maintain effective documentation and reporting systems for material usage and inventory management.
- Monitor the delivery schedules of materials and resolve any logistical issues that may arise during transportation.
- Assist in the preparation of material submittals and ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to negotiate pricing and ensure quality materials are delivered as per specifications.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular audits to minimize discrepancies and ensure stock levels meet project demands.
- Coordinate with project managers and site engineers to forecast material needs and adjust orders based on project timelines and requirements.
- Oversee the procurement and management of materials specifically for MEP systems, ensuring timely availability for project milestones.
