  • Track progress of piping activities (spooling, fabrication, erection).
  • Measure work done on-site and prepare documents for subcontractor invoice verification.
  • Evaluate and certify subcontractor and supplier invoices related to piping.
  • Ensure valuations are aligned with actual progress and project milestones.
  • Perform accurate quantity take-offs from piping drawings (isometrics, P&IDs, general arrangement).
  • Estimate material quantities: pipes, fittings, flanges, gaskets, valves, etc.
  • Track material consumption vs. estimated quantities.
  • Prepare cost estimates based on project specifications, scope, and drawings.
  • Assist in developing budgets for piping works, including materials, labor, and equipment.
  • Monitor cost variations and flag potential overruns.
  • Review and understand contract documents (BOQ, scope of work, specifications).
  • Assist in subcontractor evaluations and scope reviews.
  • Evaluate and certify subcontractor and supplier invoices related to piping.
  • Identify, evaluate, and prepare variation/change orders related to piping scope.
  • Keep records of design changes, site instructions, and RFIs affecting quantities or costs.
  • Assist in pricing and negotiating variations.
  • Compare estimated vs. actual material usage.
  • Prepare material reconciliation reports to minimize wastage and track surplus/shortage.
  • Maintain logs and reports for BOQs, variations, valuations, and material usage.
  • Provide timely reports to project management and clients.
  • Collaborate with engineering, procurement, construction, and planning teams.
  • Attend project meetings to discuss cost and quantity-related issues.
