1. Design & Planning
- Review MEP design drawings, specifications, and BOQs for compliance with ASHRAE, NEC, IPC, and UAE authority requirements.
- Prepare technical submittals, material approvals, and shop drawings using AutoCAD/Revit/BIM.
- Conduct load calculations, HVAC duct sizing, electrical single-line diagrams (SLD), and plumbing layouts.
2. Project Execution
- Supervise installation of HVAC, electrical distribution, fire protection, and plumbing systems on-site.
- Coordinate with main contractors, consultants, and subcontractors to resolve clashes and ensure smooth workflow.
- Monitor progress against schedules and report delays/risks to project managers.
3. Testing & Commissioning
- Oversee pre-commissioning checks, functional tests, and system balancing.
- Manage DEWA/ADDC/FEWA inspections and obtain necessary approvals.
- Troubleshoot technical issues in MEP systems post-handover.
4. Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure adherence to UAE Fire & Life Safety Codes and Green Building Regulations (Al Sa’fat).
- Maintain as-built drawings, method statements, and O&M manuals.
- Implement health & safety protocols (OSHAD/UAЕ OSHA standards).
