Key Responsibilities
- Assist the implementation and configuration of Oracle Fusion Accounting Hub and Accounting Foundation Cloud Service.
- Design and configure accounting rules, subledger accounting (SLA) mappings, and financial reporting frameworks for various banking products such as:
a. Loans (including retail, corporate, and mortgage loans)
b. Deposits (including demand deposits, time deposits)
c. Trade Finance products (e.g., Letters of Credit, Guarantees)
d. Credit Cards
e. Treasury Products (e.g., FX, Bonds, Derivatives)
- Collaborate with the finance, treasury, and risk teams to gather and document business requirements, ensuring that accounting and financial reporting needs are met.
- Working knowledge of OFSAA related data mining and modules.
- Develop functional specifications and work closely with technical teams to customize and integrate solutions as required.
- Ensure proper data flows and integrations between core banking systems and Fusion Accounting Hub.
- Test and validate accounting and reporting processes, including reconciliation and financial close processes.
- Provide subject matter expertise on banking products accounting and regulatory reporting standards.
- Conduct end-user training and support post-go-live activities.
- Collaborate with auditors and compliance teams to ensure that all accounting processes meet regulatory and internal audit requirements.

Educational Background
Educational Background
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance
Experience
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in accounting and financial reporting for banking products (loans, deposits, trade finance, credit cards, and treasury).
- Proven experience in implementing Oracle Fusion Accounting Hub and Accounting Foundation Cloud Service.
- Deep understanding of financial close processes, regulatory reporting, and accounting standards in the banking industry.

Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Oracle Fusion applications, specifically Accounting Hub and Accounting Foundation.
- Working and functional knowledge on OFSAA
- Experience with subledger accounting (SLA) and rule-based accounting setups.
- Knowledge of integration between core banking systems and accounting solutions.
- Familiarity with financial reporting tools and Oracle Financials.
