Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Planning Engineer with experience in handling bespoke and commercial joinery projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for project planning, scheduling, and coordination to ensure timely and efficient project execution in line with production and site requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, monitor, and update detailed project schedules for joinery and fit-out works

• Coordinate with design, production, procurement, and site teams to ensure smooth workflow and timely execution

• Track project progress, identify delays, and implement corrective actions

• Plan and allocate materials, manpower, and production timelines effectively

• Review shop drawings and align planning schedules with production and installation requirements

• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure timely material delivery

• Analyze project risks and prepare mitigation plans

• Prepare and present weekly and monthly progress reports to management

• Ensure projects are delivered within agreed timelines and budget constraints

  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field

• Minimum 5+ years of UAE experience in joinery planning

• Strong understanding of joinery production and installation processes

• Proficiency in MS Project / Primavera (P6) and AutoCAD

• Excellent coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills

• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and planning skills
