• Technical Knowledge and Industry Expertise • Strong experience in procurement of steel materials mechanical spare parts and electrical components • Good understanding of specifications grades standards and compatibility of industrial materials • Experience sourcing locally and internationally for industrial and manufacturing needs • Proficient in ERP and MRP systems • Ability to review technical drawings datasheets and material specifications • Knowledge of SABER certification requirements related to procured items • Strong commercial and cost analysis skills Key Responsibilities • Review technical specifications drawings and datasheets for steel spare parts and electrical items • Prepare RFQs and obtain technical and commercial offers from approved suppliers • Evaluate quotations and perform technical and commercial comparisons • Recommend suitable suppliers based on quality compliance cost and lead time • Support negotiations related to pricing delivery payment terms warranty and after sales support • Coordinate with engineering production and quality teams for technical approvals • Issue purchase orders and ensure alignment with approved specifications and terms • Monitor supplier performance and address quality or compliance issues • Identify cost saving opportunities through alternative materials sourcing and negotiations • Maintain accurate procurement records including RFQs purchase orders approvals and contracts • Support accounts payable reconciliation by validating invoices against purchase orders and delivery documents • Ensure product conformity and completion of SABER certification for applicable items • Verify HS codes for steel, spare parts and electrical materials in coordination with internal teams
