Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Engineer - MEP to join our team. As a Procurement Engineer, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the procurement activities of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) equipment and materials for our construction projects. You will collaborate with project managers, suppliers, and contractors to ensure the efficient and timely delivery of high-quality MEP products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in MEP procurement, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise the procurement of MEP equipment, materials, and services in accordance with project specifications and budget constraints.
• Review project plans and specifications to determine the necessary MEP materials and equipment.
• Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and contractors, and evaluate their capabilities and prices.
• Negotiate contracts and establish pricing terms with suppliers and contractors.
• Monitor and update project schedules to ensure timely procurement and delivery of MEP materials.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to provide technical support and assistance during the procurement process.
• Conduct quality inspections of procured MEP products to ensure compliance with project requirements.
