We are seeking a skilled Production Head with a minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in the FMCG sector, specifically within the meat processing industry. You will be managing the production halls, overseeing the end-to-end manufacturing of formed frozen products, tenderized chicken lines, and cold cuts.
We need a process expert who understands the industry, and the strict safety standards of a modern food plant, with a good knowledge in ERP systems.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Excellence: Lead and optimize daily production for formed frozen items (nuggets/burgers), tenderized chicken breast lines, and cold cut processing.
Yield & Cost Control: Monitor mass-balance, minimize giveaway, and optimize raw material usage to ensure maximum profitability without compromising quality.
Technical Oversight: Oversee the operation and maintenance of specialized machinery including injectors, vacuum tumblers, forming, spiral freezers, and packaging lines.
Quality & Compliance: Ensure 100% adherence to HACCP, ISO, and local food safety regulations. Always maintain “audit-ready” status.
Team Leadership: Manage a multi-shift workforce, fostering a culture of safety, discipline, and continuous improvement (Lean/Kaizen).
R&D Collaboration: Work closely with the NPD (New Product Development) team to scale up bench-top recipes to full-scale production.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Experience: Minimum 5+ years in a senior production role within the Meat/Poultry FMCG sector.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in food technology, Food Engineering, or a related field.
