The Project Engineer will be responsible for managing service schedules, assisting in the arrangement of necessary resources and documentation, and providing ongoing support during the service season.
Coordinate site activities with site teams to ensure efficient execution of service schedules.
Coordinate with procurement team to ensure availability of required tools, spare parts, materials, and specialized equipment for maintenance works.
Provide site coordination and supervision, supporting engineers and technicians during inspections, maintenance, and repair activities at the power plant.
Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including maintenance reports, inspection records, service logs, and job completion reports.
Assist in resource planning, ensuring manpower, equipment, and materials are allocated effectively to meet project and maintenance requirements.
Support the preparation of technical proposals, maintenance plans, and service documentation for ongoing and upcoming projects.
Monitor service KPIs, safety compliance, and quality standards, ensuring all activities follow company procedures and industry regulations.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency in maintenance coordination and service delivery.
Translate high-level design drawings into detailed shop drawings. This includes creating and managing the Master Bill of Materials (BOM) to ensure every item is accounted for before the production.
Identify specific material requirements (e.g., steel grades, pipe schedules) and work with procurement to vet vendors. In fabrication, also responsible for Material Approval Requests (MAR) and ensuring raw materials match project specifications upon arrival.
Develop detailed production schedules, balancing all the required resources to meet delivery deadlines. Tracking the progress of individual components through various stages.
Propose more cost-effective or feasible design changes
Oversee critical testing procedures.
