About the job Project Manager / Resident Engineer

General Description of Role and Responsibilities:

• Supervise contractors and subcontractors to ensure work is performed in accordance with project specifications and schedules.
• Monitor construction methods, materials, and workmanship to ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Conduct regular site inspections and prepare detailed progress reports.
• Coordinate with project stakeholders, including consultants, contractors, and local authorities, to resolve technical issues and site challenges.
• Review and approve construction shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals.
• Monitor quality control procedures and ensure adherence to safety regulations and best practices.
• Assist in reviewing contractor claims, variations, and progress payments.
• Attend project and coordination meetings as required.
