Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced QC Controller to oversee quality inspection processes in our machine shop. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality control, precision measuring, and machine shop operations. Candidates with prior machining experience applying for a QC role will have a distinct advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct quality inspections on 50 OD pipes and other machined components using precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Ensure all products meet industry standards, specifications, and quality requirements.
• Monitor machine shop operations to identify and rectify potential defects or inconsistencies in production.
• Maintain and calibrate measuring devices to ensure accurate readings and compliance with quality standards.
• Document inspection results, generate reports, and communicate findings with production teams.
• Work closely with machinists and engineers to implement quality improvements and optimize processes.
• Assist in root cause analysis and corrective action planning for quality-related issues.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality control protocols.
