- Oversee and manage all quality control operations in the production and delivery of ready-mix concrete.
- Develop, implement, and monitor quality control procedures and systems to ensure product compliance with relevant standards (e.g., ASTM, BS EN).
- Conduct routine inspections, testing, and analysis of raw materials, mixes, and final products.
- Ensure all concrete batches meet specifications for strength, workability, durability, and other performance metrics.
- Supervise and train lab technicians and quality control staff.
- Coordinate with production, sales, and site personnel to address any product quality issues.
- Maintain records and prepare quality assurance documentation and reports.
- Ensure all testing equipment is calibrated and maintained according to schedule.
- Investigate product failures and customer complaints, and implement corrective/preventive actions.
- Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
- Work closely with external consultants, regulatory agencies, and auditors as required.
